Qualifications

Small Business Certifications

Case HCS is certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and 8(a) Certified Small Business.

ISO and DCAA Qualifications

ISO 9001:2015 Registered Quality Management System (QMS). Case HCS received approval for ISO registration of its QMS in June 2018. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continuous improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

Checking that the system works is a vital part of ISO 9001:2008. Organizations must perform internal audits to check how its quality management system is working. An organization may decide to invite an independent certification body to verify that it is in conformity to the standard, but there is no requirement for this. Alternatively, it might invite its clients to audit the quality system for themselves.

DCAA-Approved Cost Accounting System.

Case uses PROCAS, a Project-cost based management and accounting software that complies with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 and satisfies the audit requirements of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). We understand the required characteristics of an accounting system required for Government cost-type contracts. By following DCAA compliant processes, including specific timekeeping guidelines set forth by DCAA, we ensure clients that time and costs for all projects are accounted for accurately and without misuse.
